Renal cancer is often detected incidentally owing to hematuria or during chest or abdominal CT scans performed for unrelated symptoms. Renal cell carcinomas, the most common type of kidney cancer, accounting for approximately 85% of all malignant kidney tumors, are easily detected by contrast-enhanced, triple-phase CTs. Robot-assisted surgeries and palliative treatment are beneficial for patients, particularly with stage IV renal cancers and bilateral tumors.

To share more insights on the various aspects of robotics in the surgical management of kidney cancer, a reputed uro-oncologist, Dr. Hemang Bakshi , is joining us for an exclusive webinar on “ Role of Robotics in Kidney Cancer Surgery ” on 4 th September 2022, 3:00 PM IST onwards. Stay tuned for the session!
