I was a full-time faculty at Govt.Stanley Medical College, until 1995, though the Govt.of Tamil Nadu allows private practice after officiating time 8 am to 3 pm. One of my past medical students, a very successful General Practitioner in his own Clinic at Chennai, in the year 1996 advised me to start Consultation Practice since I was willing to take Charge of an Intensive Care unit of a Private hospital.
