A team of surgeons at a hospital in Sharjah has successfully removed a watermelon-sized tumor from a 63-year-old male patient. Diagnosed with a retroperitoneal tumor several years ago, the patient had been fearful of undergoing surgery. Over the years, the patient experienced progressive abdominal distension, swelling in his legs from the knees to the feet, and debilitating back pain .
