Normal deliveries should be charged more than LSCS. WHY is it reverse? Why don’t they discuss in conferences? Obstetricians work more, use more brains, feel more tense for Normal deliveries- than for LSCS. But charges for a Normal delivery are far less than for LSCS.
I remember a patient’s husband asking an obstetrician sarcastically — Why shud I pay you for The pains my wife suffered? (for a Normal delivery). I request this topic should be discussed in National conferences and a universal decision should be taken regarding proportionate charges of Normal delivery and LSCS. What is your opinion?
