In the modern era, USG / advanced radiology /endocavitary USG etc are done for vaginal examination. Do a digital examination of the vaginal tunnel and lower cervix of uterus carry any significance in the year 2016 like before 1990's?
Does any indication still exist or should this kind of teaching now be taught under Medical History & advances only?
