The co-existence of cardiovascular disease and sleep disorders can be daunting in patients as sleep disorders are associated with different forms of CVD, including hypertension, stroke, coronary artery disease, and atrial fibrillation. Therefore, preventing the determinants of cardiovascular diseases, including sleep disorder, implementation of improved therapies, and understanding cardiovascular pathogenesis are crucial.
