A 50 year old non-hypertensive, non-diabetic lady with no significant past medical & surgical history presented with c/o a small growth on her left buttock to the infero-medial aspect about 3-4 inchs away from the anal opening. The growth is present at that site for last 1-2 years approximately and its size is increasing gradually though minimally. On examination the growth is very soft (raisin type), polypoid type with a small mobile stalk on the infero-medial aspect of her left buttock.
The growth is skin-coloured, of the size of a pea, with no superficial vasculature with no visible puncta above it. The local temperature is not raised. Please comment upon the possible differential diagnosis and management plan.
