A 60 year male with otherwise good physical fitness has developed right sides canal stenosis at L5-S1 spine, with right sided leg discomfort and tingling on standing up posture. Becomes comfortable by sitting and sleeping. There is no back pain. Good endoscopic surgery is avialble to tackle the stenosis.
What is the prognosis? Does endoscopic surgey or microspcopic surgery help in the long run vis a vis conservative treatment?
