milk lines formed by thickening of epidermis (mammary ridge) along the ventral surface of mammals of both sexes, these lines extend on both side from upper limb to lower limb, sometime upto legs. Milk lines frist appear in 7 week of embryonic life and fade away in 9th week in inframammary area, breast devolops along this line.
