India has made significant progress in tackling tuberculosis, yet it continues to carry the highest global burden. Bridging gaps in early diagnosis, ensuring treatment adherence, addressing drug resistance, and strengthening public–private collaboration remain critical. There is also a pressing need to integrate newer diagnostics, optimize preventive strategies, and tackle social determinants. As we march toward TB elimination, clinicians play a pivotal role in translating policy into impactful, patient-centered care.
