Whether as Doctors, we accept or not the way surrogacy is practiced in India, compelled Government to bring a strict Surrogacy Bill which on request of doctors and social reformers influencing few members of parliament, many of them are doctors too, has been referred to select committee before sending it to Rajya Sabha after clearance from Lok Sabha. Although, the Government of the day could easily manage to get it through Rajya Sabha immediately by managing house number as it managed currently passed "Citizen amendment Bill, removing 370 and 35A, etc.
