Endoscopic minimally invasive discectomy is a very powerful tool which can be used in the treatment of prolapsed intervertebral disc. In the following video, made under our initiative of "demystifying neuroscience" series in collaboration with Indo-German neurosurgery foundation called "Neurochirurgische Hilfe Indien" the technique is demonstrated in detail.
One has to remember that the selection of the patients has to be very accurate for the results to be good to excellent. This video depicts the procedure done under Local anaesthesia but General anaesthesia could also be used.
