Several clinical studies have reported that traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major health problem and a leading cause of disability and mortality worldwide. Similarly, in India, it is estimated that nearly 1.5-2 million people are injured and 1 million die every year due to TBI. However, there is less evidence for increasing the awareness about the impact of having minor or major head injuries to the brain and quality of life of a person.
