Rheumatoid arthritis is the inflammatory disease affecting joints. It affects over 180 million people in India. RA is an autoimmune disease and women are at higher risk than men.
It is quite possible for an Orthopedician to encounter rheumatoid arthritis patients in his/her regular practice. In such scenario, there is a need for Orthopedicians to make themselves aware of diagnosis and management of RA and start treating RA patients independently. In this regard, the following survey intends to get an overview of whether and how orthopedicians treat RA patients.
