Hi This is regarding a 43-year-old male who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2014 and is on Thyronorm tablets. He also has increased TGs around 300 picked up around this period, but his LDL was always around 80 and all other values were within normal limits. He is not a diabetic/hypertensive.
His TSH currently is also 3.5, but TG is 310, CBC, LFT, RFT all within normal limits. Should this isolated increase in TG be treated? And if yes, what is the best choice - Atorvastatin, Rosuvastatin or Fenofibrate?
