An unique operation for ruptured Abdominal AORTA DUE to Aneurysm was taken where pt was put on heart lung bypass machine using lower limb artery vein under local anesthesia. 52-year-old Dev Gupta (name chnaged) was wheeled into the emergency at BLK super-specialty hospital with a ruptured aorta and dangerously low blood pressure, the doctors didn’t know what to do. Repairing the aorta, the main artery that carries blood from heart to rest of the body, would require giving general anesthesia which could lower the blood pressure further and kill him.
