A mob with iron rods assaulted doctors after the death of a three-year-old patient and destroyed hospital property in Delhi last week. In the same week, three nurses in the ED were attacked as a patient died due to related complication after delivering a child. These types of news are frequent and kept the whole medical fraternity worried and stressed at their workplace.

It seems, finally, the government has heard the voice of doctors and has taken a step to ensure their security.
