Case Presentation A 30-year-old married male with a history of travel to South Africa was admitted to a hospital with complaint of intermittent gross hematuria and hematospermia. The patient did not smoke but he did drink. He also disclosed that he used to swim in rivers during his trips to South Africa. Examination Table 1.
Semen Analysis Microscopic semen analysis Slight sperm agglutination Large number of Schistosoma haematobium ova were observed. Extensive debris Peroxidase staining — 20 million/ml neutrophils present in ejaculate. The patient was diagnosed with urogenital schistosomiasis and treated accordingly.
