Dear doctors, The screening test with urine sample is not available because it is compared with positive & negative controls using HCVAb Chemiluminescence & enzyme immunoassay. HCV PCR is used for quantitate viral load & then the treatment can begun. POC HCV tests are now available. Urinary detection of HCV is still a far cry.
