A young male 22-year-old was received in accident and emergency dept as a case of Road Traffic Accident(RTA) with multiple fractures. Gcs around 9. CT brain showed the transverse fracture of left temporal bone. The patient had bleeding from left ear, patient was managed by the multi-disciplinary team but as a ENT specialist we were called regarding left ear bleeding.
Otoscopy showed nothing except blood in ear which was getting filled again and again even after cleaning but was nit profuse, In such scenario should we pack the ear or let the blood come out in order to avoid its intracranial collection. What treatment should be given? Kindly give your view.
