A 38-year-old patient living in Kolkata had acute fever along with her 13-year son about a month back.The temp. ranged from 100 to 103 F it lasted for 10 days. She and her son both were found to be Dengue positive. Rest all parameters were normal. Both recovered with simple analgesics sos. Now son is ok but my daughter who was otherwise a symptomatic incidently took her temp and it was 99.6 F.She called me about 10 days back to give me this news.

I advised her to record the temp every 12 hourly. It was only rising in the evening and settling in morning without any perspiration. Recently all investigation regarding PUO were done including enteric, kidney inf., tuberculosis, malaria, CBC, Urine, Xray Chest, C-reactive protein and all were inconclusive. Is it a usual sequelae of acute Dengue and will subside of its own or it requires further exploration? I am worried please guide me what…
