Nerve compression due to callus formation after #, what next? One of my patient had an road accident, CT scan rain & Thorax was reported normal on the same day. After 15 days of accident he started tingling, numbness & aesthesia on medial side of fore arm & Ring & Littel finger. Orthopedic surgeon suspected ulnar nerve compression due to root compression cause of cervical spondylosis. Even after traction & Physio, there as no improvement. MRI brachial plexus done on advise of Neuro physician. Shockingly it revealed # of 1st Rib near costo vertebral joint.
there was callus formation which was now compressing C 8 root. Even after 3 month of primary injury & approx 2 months of symptoms there is no relief.
