A 41-year young lady diagnosed to have megaloblastic anemia with Hemoglobin of 6 gm percent, platelets are normal. Started on IV B12 replacement after 4 days. HB dropped to 5'1, retic count increased.

Should she be given intramuscular injections? The patient is hemodynamically stable.
