Bupivacaine itself is long acting local anaesthetic so it doesn't need the addition of vasoconstrictor like adrenaline to prolong its local anaesthetic action. But even then why adrenaline is added while giving intrathecal or local infiltration or regional blocks like brachial plexus block?
