Every few days, I see a new hospital or clinic coming up with the so called owning doctors being non MBBS. They write on their name plates as- Dr XYZ, MD. And on being asked what this MD means they say its Managing Director. But in actuality its to fool patients who will feel that he or she has master's degree. I even see so many specialised clinics like - pain clinic, spine clinic, stone clinic etc being run by such crooks.
There are even hospitals run by physiotherapists as orthopedic specialists. MCI talks about 5 yearly revalidation of medical license at one end. And at the other, these unethical practices are going on rampantly. What can be done to control this unethical medical practice?
