Exit test a good idea with bad fundamentals. I happened to be associated with many medical colleges for more than two decades in private sector and qualified from one of the oldest medical colleges in India. Now the government and Medical Council of India (MCI) woke up after many decades what is wrong with our education, Never bothered about merit and everybody bend the system to vote bank politics.
The MCI profited more than anyone and many inspectors become filthy rich with the power of sanctioning the college without infrastructure and accepting all the ghost teachers as regular faculty filling all the defects. However the medical council never assessed what is the truth in many private medical colleges, and mushrooming of hundreds of medical colleges.
