I have seen in my experience that many private hospitals or nursing homes when appoint a consultant, usually refrain from keeping a RMO or night duty doctor. There are long working hours...constant calls and expectations to manage even normal labour at night. There are cases where even trained nurses are not there at all.

Even the OPD staff is below par. I am inviting my fellow gynaecologists to place their views.
