A 22 year old girl having hirsutism came to my clinic. She does not want to go for laser treatment, what else can be done for her?

I have heard that metronidazole applied locally can help reduce hair growth and alovera gel prescribed simultaneously with prevent drying of the skin. I dont know the scientific validity of this treatment but I just wanted to know, Is there anything else that can be done in such a case?
