MBBS, MD , DA from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur.First student in India to undergo training in Cardiac & Neuroanaesthesia( Post doctoral certificate course) from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of medical sciences and technology , Trivandrum , Kerala in 1982.Joined as faculty member in March 1983.
