This is a new entity reflecting the previously known "chronic fatigue syndrome or myalgic encephalomyelitis", as this syndrome is not just an imagination and in fact, is considered to be a real disease characterised with real clinical manifestations that need to be identified and cared for. Thus, the introduction of this new entity " systemic exertion intolerance disease " becomes an essential issue.
