A 8-year female child brought with c/o fever and dry cough since 7 days. On third day of fever typical measles like rash appeared all over body. Rash is nonpruritic in nature.
CBC TLC 2300, HB10.6 ,Platelets 140000 All CBC shows leucopenia+thrombocytopenia. Dengue serology and malaria antigen negative. At present, she is on IV Fluids+ inj.piperacillin-tazobactam, inj.ceftriaxone, oral doxycycline and azithromycin rest symptomatic but still on 4th day of the course she has fever and that too high grade so I am confused about what is the exact cause and how to manage the fever, so please help.
