After the government’s decision of allotting 100 seats to Institute of Medical Sciences in Kasna, it is predicted that the faculty would soon be recognized by MCI. This institute was ready in April 2013, but further some additional expenditures were made on developing the infrastructure. However, as they have not yet received MCI recognition it is yet to start. The officials say that the institute lacks quality doctors and necessary equipment’s.

MCI had visited this college in last November and will be again visiting this month. The institute hopes to get recognition this time and start classes by September. The officials say that the MCI recognition is probably easy but, the 500-bed hospital has only 30% occupancy because of lack of infrastructure.
