Severe jolt to 149 medical colleges! Health ministry has recently disapproved proposals of 140 medical colleges to start/increase PG seats for the academic session 2018-19 after considering the recommendations of MCI. The MCI team had visited these medical colleges and found that the facilities were not up to their norms to increase PG seats or start new PG courses.
thereafter, the health ministry recently issued a public notice stating that “ The following schemes of the Medical Colleges for Starting/Increase in seats of PG (Broad Specialty) courses for the academic session 2018-19 have been disapproved after considering the recommendations of MCI .
