Introduction In the case of Arterial Hypertension and its complications, many guidelines have been put forth by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and by the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) . The guidelines are framed for the management of arterial hypertension in adults aged ≥ 18 years. According to the ESC/ESH guidelines 2018 “Hypertension is defined as the level of BP at which the benefits of treatment (either with lifestyle interventions or drugs) unequivocally outweigh the risks of treatment” . Arterial hypertension is a condition of increased pressure in the vessels caused by a blockage in the small arteries of lungs.
