40 years old female pt presented with left trigeminal neuralgia . Oxcarbamazepine was started. With in 2-4 weeks her symptoms improved 50-60%. After that local non medical person injected some B-comlex injection to her supraorbital region. 2 days after patient presented with left Abducens palsy. I thought POST TRAUMATIC palsy . Low dose steroids started. No improvement in abducens palsy.
Then i thought it may be Oxcarbamazepine induced Diplopia. So oxcarbamazepine dose tapered and Baclofen started for Trigeminal neuralgia. Pt was asymptomatic for that. Now patient again presented with left eye Ptosis, blurring of vision and lt retro orbital headache.oopthalmologic examination completely normal.
