A 76 year male had TIA and was given initial treatment like anticoagulant etc. He was told to have a stent operation for carotid (right carotid was 100% blocked with trace amount of flow, left carotid was 80% block). Doctor suggested to put stent in 100% blocked carotid, resulting in massive perfusion with increased intracranial pressure & massive intracranial hemorrhage & left sided hemiplagia.

What should have been the correct line of treatment? Kindly advice.
