The Commissionerate of Food Safety and Drugs Control on Thursday reported quality failures in eight medicines tested between July 16 and 31, 2026. According to the notice, samples collected in Rajasthan by drug control officers were declared “not of standard quality” after testing and analysis. Authorities stated that available stock of the affected batches must not be consumed and should be withdrawn to protect patients.
Action will be taken under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and related rules.
