A 24 year old male patient came with complain of mild heaviness in the left year for last 7 to 8 months.No h/o any hearing loss. O/E there is grade 4 retraction of pars tensa , attic region stage 1 retraction. Weber with 512 central type.
other ENT parameters are insignificant. Just prescribed oral antihistaminic with mucolytics, N/D xylometazoline, steam inhalation and valsalva maneuver.advised HRCT of temporal bone, Pure tone audiometry with tymapnometry. Is there a any role of surgery, as the patient is asymptomatic except for mild heaviness in left ear?
