Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a life-threatening condition. It is difficult to diagnose in several patients, as its clinical signs are neither sensitive nor specific. In elderly patients, misdiagnosis of PE is a frequent event. The USFDA-approved PCSK9 inhibitors can lower LDL levels and prevent heart attacks or strokes. These drugs can effectively prevent emboli formation and associated cardiovascular complications if used appropriately.
