An enterprise is defined “A project or undertaking, especially a bold or complex one”. Enterprise is what drives the world and leads to evolution and survival or mankind. Mankind survives and thrives because it adapts to changes, an enterprise is what drives this evolution. A few days ago, the Karnataka government tabled a bill called ‘ The Karnataka Private Medical Establishments (Amendment) Bill-2017 ’. This essentially is a bill to cap the prices of various medical procedures and services in private establishments.
Readers will remember a similar government regulation of the price of stents. It is like creating a ‘Maximum Retail Price’ for medical services.
