Highlights  Dual-polymer hydroxypropyl guar (HPG)–hyaluronic acid (HA) lubricant eye drops demonstrated  noninferiority to 0.15% sodium hyaluronate  in improving total ocular surface staining score (TOSS) over 6 weeks in patients with dry-eye disease (DED). 1  The HPG–HA formulation contains propylene glycol (PG) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) and polymers that aid tear-film stabilization by increasing retention time of the lubricant on the ocular surface. ¹  In digital device users with mild-to-moderate dry eye symptoms,  Systane Hydration PF  resulted in statistically significant improvements in IDEEL Quality-of-Life domains (Daily Activities, Feelings, Work) and Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) scores after 2 weeks of treatment (all p < 0.0001).

²  No new safety findings were reported in the 6-week randomized study. ¹ No treatment-related adverse events were reported in the 2-week…
