Case presentation A 45-year-old female presented with a complaint of a hard mass growing slowly on the right postauricular area. This mass was present for ten years before the current visit.
Physical examination revealed a smooth, painless, unmoving mass measuring 3 x 3 cm in the mastoid area. Diagnostic workup The CT scan of the temporal bone showed an outgrowth with an irregular surface measuring 2.3 x 1.4 x 3.0 cm in the right mastoid cortical region. After surgical removal of the mass, a histological study revealed a dense, compact lamellar bone.
