Amlodipine (CCB's) overdosage is very rare to see in clinical practice. Hence there are no clear guidelines for the treatment. It was a 33y/f who consumed 48 tablets of Amlodipine 5 mg. and presented to the emergency department only after 2 days! She was fine at the time of admission but mildly dyspnoeic. Her vitals were stable. ECG showed tachycardia, BP was stable. Routine investigations and S.Ca levels were sent. She was kept in ICU for observation. Started on Calcium infusions and other supportive care.

2nd day she was more dyspnoeic and had desaturation, started on BIPAP. CXR showed Pulm. edema (ARDS) and ABG showed hypoxia. Heart failure was ruled out by ECHO and cardiologist. 3rd day she became increasingly dyspnoeic and drowsy. CXR showed whitewash lung. She was intubated and ventilated. Paralysed and ventilated.
