A previously healthy 10-year old girl presented with a mild diffuse abdominal pain, following 3 days of nausea and vomiting. The mother reported incidence of nausea over 3 days with frequent emesis, non-bloody and non-bilious.
Due to her persistent emesis, her oral intake had significantly decreased by the time of presentation. She had developed significant fatigue with no change in mental status. MRI demonstrated a pancreatic head mass with a heterogeneous internal signal. (Image provided).
