A 55-year-old lady had a sudden facial palsy. Past history: She was detected with Ca Lt Breast in 2014 and recovered after undergoing CT RT and operation. In 2018, she developed DM and hypertension which was not properly controlled. She has now developed dysphagia. Investigations: HBA1c 13.9, MT –ve, CBC normal. Lymph nodes look like lump behind the post pharyngeal wall.
X-ray chest PA view is normal. I had been treating her with insulin and oha, vitamin D and paracetamol. Suddenly she developed facial palsy, 10 days after the treatment. Is it coronavirus infection, presenting as facial palsy. I got two patients in 7 days.
