A study conducted at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), published in the journal Neuro-Oncology has demonstrated that bigger brains are associated with greater risk of cancer. Researcher Even Hovig Fyllingen stated that, " Aggressive brain cancer is a rare type of cancer, but once you have it, the chance of survival is relatively low ". A large brain means more brain cells. And more the cells, the more cell divisions can go wrong and create mutations that leads to cancer. The researcher added that, "Several studies have shown that the size of different organs is an important factor in cancer development.
