Case Presentation A 51-year-old female presented to a clinic with menopausal symptoms and was evaluated by a GP, Dr. P. During the evaluation, a blood test was ordered, which revealed an FSH level of 66 mIU/mL indicating that the patient was menopausal . After a detailed discussion with Dr. P, the patient decided to proceed with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for which she was prescribed estradiol tablets, which was an unopposed estrogen treatment. A few months later, the patient returned to Dr.
P with complaints of vaginal bleeding after intercourse . Furthermore, Dr. P referred the patient for an ultrasound scan, which was conducted a month later. The ultrasound results revealed a bulky uterus with the presence of several rounded mixed echo structures suggestive of fibroids .
