dear docs. one of my male patient 62 yrs.complaining of priapism during sexual act.he is not an alcoholic or smoker.no hypertension.no dyslipidemia.BMI within normal rangeCBC,LFT.TFT,kidney profiles are normal.He has IGT, only on meal plan only.HbA1c 6.0-6.5 % only.Has seasonal nasal allergy ,on anti histamine Polaramine during winter only.Has GERD takes PPI sparingly not regularly.USG shows mild prostomegaly.no symptoms no drugs.he is a relaxed person with no psychiatric disturbances.Is priapism is part of male climacteric.kindly discuss the causes and management.
