The Federal National Council at Abu Dhabi recently approved a draft federal law regulating the practice of the medical profession in the UAE. The law aims to protect the community from illegal medical practices that compromise medical ethics. Furthermore, the law places a legal foundation of professional standards to ensure that best medical services are provided to individuals.
