In order to earn much money there is a trend to open up a small laboratory by clinician besides their clinic with a help of a just technician. Is this ethical? Especially for the endocrinologists, they feel like they are pathologists.
Well they know hormones, but they do not know how to perform it. So is it ethical for clinicians to run their own laboratories without a pathologist? This question is similar to the one posted earlier where it was asked if a surgeon can perform c section instead by a gynecologist.
